GATSBY CH 4 NOTES

• Gatsby claims to be the son of wealthy deceased parents from the Midwest
• Gatsby says he's from San Francisco and educated in Oxford 
• Gatsby says he collected jewels in Europe and had been awarded medals during World War 1 from different countries 
• Gatsby was speeding through the valley and gets puled over and just shows a white card to the cop and the cop apologizes
• Gatsby introduces Nick to Meyer Wolfshiem who had fixed the 1919 World Series 
• Nick thinks Gatsby has connections with some sort of crime organization 
• Nick sees Jordan and she tells him that Gatsby is in love with daisy that she was a beautiful lady
• Daisy fell in love with Gatsby but married Tom after Gatsby left to war Daisy drank to numbness the day before her wedding 
• Nick says he remembers the day he saw Gatsby seeing a green light and that it was the end of Daisy's dock
