WHY I WORK

I care enough to work for something I really want or if it’s something that I need because if not I’ll be affected like papers. A project is a great example because a project is like something big for someone and for example in school something big (project) is worth a good amount of points. If you don’t do that project your grade will be affected by a good amount sometimes even a whole letter grade. So something I would care about working on would be something like a project a relationship is also a good example. In my way of seeing it it’s relationship between 2 people so 50 and 50 makes 100. It wouldn’t before if one is doing 75 and the other doing 25 I would really care about a relationship like that. If we both put the 50 it’s something to work for and care about and would look to love forward with that person.

WHAT ARE WE LEARNING NOW?

I feel like what I’ve learned from this is that a virus can control the world in a matter of time and that if we continue like this it won’t stop. The internet and robots could potentially take over the world and have more power that they can even be used as teachers. I learned that everyone gets bored of being home and not being able to go out and have fun. It’s like something like this can bring a lot of people together as a country but others get out of control and don’t see people who are actually affected. This can even cause an economic crash with out people being able to control it and its crazy because a lot of people are unemployed.

THE RIGHT TO READ

I believe that we as Americans should have the right to reas because it lets us learn more as humans it helps kids to get smarter. We as humans learn something new everyday and I way for us to learn is by reading different articles. We can gather information by reading about the topic we want it’s like doing a research. If people have the freedom of speech would should always have the right to read because reading is a big effect in our days. Even if your just reading a news paper or a message it helps because auto correct can help you correct yourself and you might Understand how to do it.

BOOKS AND NEW TECH

I think books are a good way to learn things but other people believe that instead internet should have everything for easier access. Some of the people learn better through books and people like me I’d rather have a book at my hand than a phone while reading. I would get distracted if I am reading off my phone but if I got the book I wouldn’t get distracted. Books are better than technology sometimes but we might not understand.

F451 AND ME

One of the connections that I made with the reading was that he feels like his neighbor is probably strange and weird. I feel like my neighbors are strange and weird also but it’s probably because I haven’t talked to them that much. The way he felt like a guy was telling him something I can relate to it because like 5 or so years ago. I was with my uncle and I heard an ambulance and it reminded me of my brother some how and when we got home I found out he had been taken to the hospital with Respiratory problems.

F451 summary

The guy Montag is a fireman in charge of burning books in a grim he has a bit of pleasures of working on the jobs. He wears a helmet with the numbers 451 and a black uniform with a salamander ooh the arm and a Phoenix disc on the chest. On his way home from the fire station he gets a weird sense then he meets his new neighbor an unusual seventeen year old named Clarisse McClellan. She immediately recognized him as a fireman and seems amazed by him and his uniform. She tell him that she is crazy and the fireman shout extinguish fires not light them up and she asks him about his job and tells him he comes from a strange family. Clarissa strangeness makes guy nervous and he laughs repeatedly. She reminds him in different ways of candlelight, a clock and a mirror. He somehow feels attracted to her as she fascinates him with outrages questions and she asks him if he is happy as she disparara into her house. Wondering if the absurd question he enters his house and muses about the enigmatic stranger and her questions.

GATSBY ESSAY

The point of view that I get the readers see the American Dream as being wealthy, not really happy, and some what loyal to each other. Some people will say it’s worth pursuing the American Dream because of what they see that people have accomplished. In the other hand people will also say that it is not worth coming to America for what they believe it would be because it’s harder for them to get to the America dream. In my opinion if you come to America live the American Dream if you work hard and smart you will get there. The story shows a lot his examples of this actions  that can be explained.

     I see the American Dream as a big dream that people who are living outside of American or United States would love to accomplish. In my understanding people see the American Dream as coming to the United States and finding a job that pays well so they can buy a house. Some people just want to come and have a great job to get money and go back to there home countries. The people that would like to accomplish the American Dream would work hard to get money and raise their family to n a good place and community. The people that live with a lot of violence in there country just see the American Dream as a safe place to be at home and with more freedom than they have at their home country. The way I see it is that depends what you are Living in your home country the American Dream is different and some people want less and others want more.

     The American Dream in The Great Gatsby might be a little different but it has some great examples of what people think about the American Dream. Gatsby is a great example of the American Dream because of his work and what he did in the story and the wealth he has. Gatsby was a normal American went to a university and all till one day he was fishing and saw a big yacht. While Gatsby was out there he warned the owner of the yacht about a big storm so the guy ended up taking him along. Gatsby later became his assistant and became in love with the luxury life so he started working for what he really wanted and became wealth after his boss passed away. In the story the example that is put about the American Dream can be possible to accomplish if you really want too it won’t get you everything I want be it can be accomplished.

     In my way of seeing things it’s good to pursue the American Dream because it has different benefits that you can get out of it. The people who pursue the American Dream lose a lot but they also gain a lot and they gain more than what they lose. While other people gain more freedom and get away from the violence they would live around others also find great jobs that will help their families out. Most of the people who have accomplished what they call the American Dream are happy about what this country has gave them and how they are treated. The jobs that immigrants who come and try to live the American Dream are hard jobs but they will do anything to get their family out of poverty so they can have better lives. Living the American Dream can be different for everybody some come from poverty to just trying to get more for themselves. Many others just come from middle class families trying to get more and become wealthier than other some people take advantage of what they have. If you live with violence and poverty around you the American Dream is a great way out it might be hard but at the end it’s the best.

     In the American Dream can be different for everyone depending what you are living and where your from and is going on in your home country. Most of the people it’s just getting out of poverty and giving their kids a better place and better living. They come to this country risking a lot that we might not see but for them is living family behind like brothers, sisters, and parents. Just to come live the American Dream having a better job and more money to live better than what they used too.

CUE THEME MUSIC

The discussion that we had in class was good a lot of great examples about the message that the story might want to tell people. The ideas that the classmates put up on the board are great about all of them having fake love for each other and Gatsby just trying to get daisy back because he loved her. The other great idea that they said was that money won’t get you everything and that’s a good one because it can’t buy happiness and things like feelings. They were grey central messages because e they could be backed up by what’s in the story and have great examples of them.

The American dream is a big reason a lot of people want to come to the United States because in the outside the United States looks great but can be totally different in the Inside. Countries around us might look at us like a wonderful place and a dream to be here but in reality it’s expensive to live here and we have to work hard for our dreams. Some people that come to the United States from other countries end up needing help from others to live somewhere it’s hard on people to be here sometimes. We have a great country but our health care is very high and it’s not great with all the jobs people have and they get over charged for an injury.

1. Gatsby is a great person but just focused on one dream or goal but he is great and welcomes a lot of people to his parties 
2. Nick is very honest but I feel like he just didn’t really have anyone else to hang out around their so his neighbor and cousin were the only options he had and not other people

I agree with him because they were both careless about others peoples feelings and how they feel they just cared that they felt good about themselves and didn’t matter about the outside world like they just zoned out and they are the only ones that have feeling which seemed careless and the money would save them from being punished

I disagree with her behavior and I wouldn’t let any of my family members around her because of that fact that she doesn’t like her own daughter it’s like it your daughter you gave birth to her and no one else did besides you and she is careless about other people and how they feel she just cares about her feeling great

WHAT’S SO GREAT ABOUT GATSBY

Gatsby was a great guy who just had one goal or dream and it was go get daisy back because he loved her with his whole heart and would do anything for her. Gatsby welcomed a lot of people when he did his parties that were only meant to get daisy’s attention and for her to go but either way he invited lots and welcomed lots. He bought the house across from daisy’s dock just to see her that she was their and the green light at night that was her dock. Gatsby was full of great ideas and would take blames even if he didn’t do it just like how daisy was the one who ran over the lady and not Gatsby which is why he got killed.
