THE ROAD NOT TAKEN

LET ME WALK YOU THROUGH THE PEDESTRIAN

Imagine you go for a walk and then you turn the corner and the you get stopped by a cop and start getting harassed for putting one foot in front of the other. Ray Bradbury once went for a walk in his town and n a chilly day as he went home a couple of things occurred. He got the energy to go home and write a short story about what had happened to him in his walk. He felt in a sort of way that he had to put the things that happened out their for people to read and understand. As he got home he start his story and wrote the story called “The Pedestrian”. It seemed like the things that happened bothered him and felt injustice so he want people to know about them.

The tone of the story “The Pedestrian” seem like it’s a chilly day in a November fall it’s around eight o’clock. The grass and buches filled with invisible ice and when your breathed out you would see the fog coming out of your mouth. Everything was calm the streets were empty with lights in on but rarely any people. Their was not much noise either he was just walking home when he saw some lights flash behind him and telling him to stop. It was a cop car that had stopped him the only cop car in the city. I would be mad and pissed if an officer toke me down for no reason I would feel like am getting mistaken for another person. I would probably end up file a lawsuit against the cop and the station for what they have done and I would have raised my tone as he ddi also.

The character seemed to like going for walked when the sun would go down at night around the same time or would have the same routine everyday. He liked going out and explore the life going and breathing fresh air. He was calm but when the cop stopped him for no reason and started acting like he commuted a crime. He was basically getting harassed for just walking down the street on a chilly day just to go out and get fresh air. He was bothered and felt you justice for walking he felt a way that he should like discriminated.

The plot of the story was the same they go out for a walk on a calm day around the city or neighborhood. The place and city is calm and does not have a lot of noise with rarely any people everything seemed to go well. When he started walking home about a block away from his house he gets stopped by a cop and was asked for identification and a couple questions like “what have you been doing?” but he was just walking and felt you justice. The end of the story is were the plot changes in real life he gets to go home and feels the energy to write the story so he wrote it but, in the story he but that he gets taken by the cop car. It was all unfair it’s like if an officer saw you walking down the street and some random person committed a crime and he tries to blame you for that crime and he puts in in hand cuffs and takes you.

STORY OF MY LIFE

An event that happened at n my life that could be turned into a short story is when I had my soccer game this weekend. We played a gold team that is high qualified than us we are silver we scored the first goal some kid kept pulling on my so when I had the chance I backed elbowed him he got mad and said it was weak and to do it in front of the ref. So as we went he scored the score was tied then they got a penalty they scored it and they were ahead by a goal the ref wasn’t marking anything they injuries our keeper then it hit half time with them ahead by a goal. I changed and started 2nd half as keeper then we went on and scored a goal 2-2 then I got a ball and got stepped on and the ref wasn’t marking anything so I played and we got a penalty and scored 3-2 then we scored again 4-2 and the last few minutes we managed to get another one in and won the math 5-2 the kid ended up apologizing and saying that he talked to soon.

SO THIS GUY GOES FOR A WALK

The tone contributes with his life experience because he was wrongly token advantage by a cop also just like how the guy in the story was walking home and he got arrested by a cop car and was taken somewhere. The character seems like a calm guy that just like to go for walks late at night just to get some air and see what’s out in life for him to see late at night or just go for a walk on the streets. The plot is the same as the one in his real like he goes for a walk around his city or neighborhood and he ends up getting stopped by a cop when he is about to get home just that in his real life I just gets release and could go home and in the story he gets taken by the cop car.

THE ART OF HOSTING GOOD CONVERSATIONS ONLINE

Some important points i liked the one were it said authentic conversations are from the heart, head and guts. The other points that i felt that were important were the ones were it said that we should make them talk and not just be consumers. 

HOW TO GET ALONG ONLINE

Three ways to have a great online conversation. one would be to keep the person interested on what the conversation is about and not make them bored. two be humors with person throw some jokes out their make them laugh. Last is be nice to the person never be men or rude to them. 

SAME WORDS DIFFERENT PEOPLE

Two things that I learned about the vocab and talking about it. Is that you could start a conversation about just a vocabulary word that is interesting. Like the word meme started a conversation about a meme that’s was going viral and we started talking how people were making it different and changing the meme. I also learned that it’s good to look into new word and find out we’re they came from and the root word of them.

THE VALUE OF TIME

One thing that I know will help me in the future that am doing today is that I go to the gym everyday am usually committed to what I do. The other things that help me out and would make me a good person later in life is that am alone most of the time and the things I do I usually do them alone I feel that helps because people should be independent. This are things that would help me in the future with out depending on people to do things or for their needs.

HOW I READ

my first impression on how we read was that i started thinking of how good books can be for us and we could get into them. In my way i feel like i would have to get a very good or interesting that it would get my mind into it. my impression is good because sometimes it feels good to get that feeling that your in the story also and you want to be their. the story that would get me in that type of way would be if there's a bad person trying to harm and i'd be the one to save them.

HAWTHORNE & POE ON DREAM

It’s two different types of dreams because in Young Goodman Brown he ends up being in a bad dream that he turns horrible after he wakes up and finds out bad news and things he didn’t want to happen. In Dream Within A Dream it seems like a good dream where things are all calm and relax without having anything to stress out about and worry about. It’s just two different type of dreams and people and when you wake up from one you are mad, sad, or worried. When you wake up from the other you are happy about everything at the moment. As you go things sink in and you will eventually forget about it.

INVESTING IN ME

I think the best way to start saving money is by me getting a job and from the checks I get put half of it away in a safe place and not use it. If not their is other things that work and will be helpful for me to save money like going and helping people. Doing BBQ’s and selling tickets for it is also a great idea that people always do when then need money for things. Their is different types of ways that we capfuls get money we just need to want the money and be able to do it.

LETTER TO A MENTOR DRAFT

The person I would like to talk to and ask what it took them to get to where they are is my role model and feel like is the best soccer player in the world right Lionel Messi. I would like to ask him what it took for him because i could tell he as the same as all of us had bumps on the road. It would mean a ll lot to talk to a person that important in the sport i love and have passion for. I would have to ask him a lot of questions because i know that he even has hormone problems how has it been with these types of medical conditions.
